Scheduling changes at Park View Pediatrics

We know this is a challenging time for our patients and families. We want you to know that we have been carefully following coronavirus/COVID-19 developments. The American Academy of Pediatrics strongly recommends staying up to date with well care to avoid delays in vaccinations, delays in appropriate screenings and referrals and delays in anticipatory guidance to assure optimal health for the children in our practice.

We feel it is in the best interest of our patients to split our day into well care and sick care. We are now seeing well care visits in the morning and early afternoon with children with illness requiring evaluation in the later afternoon. We want to stress that families should call us first and NOT go to an urgent care, ED, or hospital without discussing their concerns with one of our nurses or providers. Our after hours triage remains fully operational.

We’ve implemented additional deep cleaning in our office and removed toys and books from waiting area and exam rooms. In addition, we respectfully request that families limit accompanying family members to only those necessary for the visit.

Our goal is to provide the best care possible to our patients and families. Please know that we are working diligently in the best interest of your family’s health and will provide updates on an ongoing basis.
